Eligibility Criteria
• Should have passed MS/DNB (Gen Surg) or MD/MS/DGO/DNB (ObGyn) (MCI recognised)
• Minimum 1 year experience after MS/MD/DNB and minimum 2 years experience after DGO.
• Should be performing basic laparoscopic procedures independently.
• Should have attended at least 1 skills course in the past two years (only if the candidate is
not attending the current one)
• Should be a Life Time Member of AMASI or should apply for new membership.

It is our greatest pleasure to welcome you all to 70th AMASI Skill Course and fellowship exam to
be held at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri Pune from 21, 22 &
23rd February 2020. This Skill course aims to continue the great tradition of Accreditation initiated
by AMASI for the practicing as well as budding surgeons in India. This skill course is an ideal
platform to interact with the faculty and learn the basic techniques as well as to upgrade your skills
in Laparoscopic Surgery. The sessions conducted during the course would attempt to impact,
comprehensive knowledge and skill in basic and advanced Laparoscopic Surgery with the basic
aim of training all surgeons to perform Laparoscopic Surgery. A written exam (MCQ) along with viva
voce including skill test will be conducted on the last day. Successful candidates will be awarded the
Fellowship of Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS).
