BEHIND THE SCENES
Since the $310 million redevelopment of Westfield Warringah Mall began in August 2015, a lot has been going on behind the hoardings.
In the new fashion mall, we have erected the formwork and laid the majority of concrete structure for the two new retail levels and rooftop car park. Once complete, the new mall will be home to 70 new food, local and international fashion retailers.
Myer closed in January 2016 so it could accelerate the refurbishment of its store. When it opens in late 2016, it will be the first of its kind to showcase the company’s new look. Meanwhile, we’ve been upgrading the stormwater drainage network in this area of the Mall and laying the foundation for the new custom-built Kids Playworld.
In the Galleria Mall, we are replacing the flooring with a new stone finish. Our priority is to ensure the safety and accessibility of all staff and shoppers during this upgrade so temporary carpet has been laid over the floor as this work continues.
Catch all the action on our timelapse videos at westfield.com.au/warringahmall/development.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTThroughout the redevelopment, we have consulted with many community groups and members to understand how we can improve our services and facilities to better meet everyone’s needs.
We have been working with parents and family groups, aged and disability care service providers, local community and business groups, residential neighbours and the artist of the Pacific Family Dolphin Fountain, Victor Cusack.

CAR PARK UPDATE
In conjunction with the launch of the Fresh Food Marketplace and Eatery, we are opening a new multi-deck car park on Cross Street.
Approximately 1200 car spaces will be available over five levels, which is connected to the retail mall at two levels by travelators.
We are installing a new parking guidance system in the multi-deck car park which, when fully commissioned, uses coloured lights to indicate whether parking spaces are available. Here’s how it will work:
– Green Light = Available space– White Light = Parking with Prams– Blue Light = Disabled Parking– Red Light = Occupied space
> See page 4 for more car park information

The Myer rooftop car park, which can be accessed via Old Pittwater Road, has also reopened.
Temporary changes in the traffic flow are continuing in the outdoor car parks along Condamine Street to allow for upgrade works of the stormwater drainage network and sewer lines.
We thank you for your patience during these works.
