• CONTRACTOR AND ARCHITECT SHALL STAMP ALL SUBCONTRACTORS SUBMITTALS
• A SUBMITTAL WITHOUT THE CONTRACTORS STAMP WILL BE RETURNED
• CONSULTANTS SHALL STAMP SUBMITTALS WITHIN THEIR SCOPE
– SUBMITTALS REVIEWED BY CONSULTANTS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE ARCHITECT AND THEN BACK TO THE CONTRACTOR
• ULTIMATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IS LEFT TO THE CONTRACTOR
SHOP DRAWINGS OR SUBMITTALS DO NOT MODIFY THE REQUIREMENTS REFLECTED BY THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS

SCHEDULING SUBMITTALS
THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE SURE THAT SPECIFIED SUBMITTALS ARE RECEIVED FROM THE CONTRACTOR
• IF A SHOP DRAWING FROM A CERTAIN TRADE HAS BEEN SPECIFIED, THEN THOSE SHALL BE SUBMITTED
• CREATE A LOGGING SYSTEM– DATE RECEIVED
– DATE ISSUED
– VERSION OF SUBMITTAL
• ALL SUBMITTALS SHALL HAVE THE DATE RECEIVED AND THE DATE ISSUED STAMPED ON THEM
• RETURN ANY ERRANT SHOP DRAWING– NEVER REQUESTED
– NOT REQUIRED BY SPECIFICATIONS
• DO NOT STAMP UNSPECIFIED SUBMITTALS
• DO NOT ACCEPT THE CONTRACTORS NONCONFORMING SUBMITTALS WITHOUT A CONTRACTORS STAMP
