OFFICERS NEED TO TRAIN INA LIVE FIRE SHOOT HOUSELaw  enforcement  departments  havethe  responsibility  and  obliga7on  toexpose  their  officers  in  training  to  asmany  situa7ons  as  possible  that  theymay  encounter  on  the  street.Inadequate  training  will  lead  to  poorresults  when  real  crises  do  arise,  aswell  as  possible  civil  judgments  for  notproviding  adequate  training.

NEW TECHNOLOGY HAS MADE LIVEFIRE SHOOT HOUSES EASY•  Historically,  live  fire  shoot  houses  were  made  outof  old  automobile  7res,  plywood,  cinder  blocks,  andother  material  that  stops  bullets.•  With  today’s  modern  technology  in  cleanammuni7on  and  live  fire  shoot  house  construc7on,there  is  no  excuse  not  to  train  officers  in  live  fireindoor  simulators.•  Companies  such  as  Ac7on  Target  make  excellentportable  bullet  traps  and  live  fire  shoot  houses.

PAY NOW OR LATER•  Departments  can  either  pay  now  (financially)to  build  an  indoor  live  fire  simulator  andreceive  immediate  access  to  indoor  trainingscenarios.

•  Alterna7vely,  departments  can  pay  later  fornot  providing  this  level  of  training  to  yourofficers.

•  The  cost  of  "paying  later"  is  far  greater  as  itputs  lives  in  jeopardy  and  allows  for  possiblelawsuits  and  other  financial  repercussions.

Page 7: Shoot Houses

To  ensure  that  law  enforcement  officers  are  adequatelytrained,  the  best  choice  is  to  "pay  now"  by  purchasing  alive  fire  shoot  house  and  give  officers  the  trainingnecessary  to  successfully  do  their  job  in  every  possiblescenario.
