“SHIRP …. does not replace any of the existing regional health libraries, academic libraries or other entities within the province. Rather, it serves to gather and present the most valuable electronic information and knowledge resources and services to a shared clientele in a more systematic and cost effective manner. Some of the resources will be provided from member libraries, while the “gaps” will be identified and filled by the partnership.”
