Shirley Jane Temple bounced into the world April 23, 1928. She became a joyous girl who lived

out her mothers dreams by tap dancing around with her charm and fifty-six corkscrew curls.

Her dimples and wide eyes brought life and hope to the great depression causing fdr to nick-

name her little miss miracle. She was the star child that kept 20th Century Fox alive; adding

her infectious spunk to forty-three films by the age of twelve. But as she grew older audiences

struggled to accept her maturing age which left her to merge into her interest of politics. Shirley

is the only person to be an honorary foreign service officer for the u.s., just one of many awards

presented to her throughout her lifetime, including her very own kid sized golden Oscar. Shes

currently retired in Santa Monica, where she dreams about animal crackers and lollipops.

a little girl who kept the the spirits high during the depression with her countless films filled with her bubbly personasmile, fdrs little miss miracle
