FINANCE OFFICER
A little bit about me?
I was born and raised in Cunderdin and moved away at the end of my schooling to Rockingham. I returned to Cunderdin in 2016, to be with my now husband, where I started full-time
at the Shire.
What are my responsibilities?
I started my role with the Shire as the Rates & Debtors Officer and progressed to be the Finance Officer. My responsibilities include maintaining the Shire Rates Book, raising and issuing of Rate Notices and Instalment Notices, processing pensioner rebate applications, maintaining the Valuation Register, processing Valuation schedules from the Valuer General, and assisting with all general rate enquiries. I also process incoming payments to the Shire, issue invoices, process payroll and am the main point of contact for the residents of
Sandalwood Village for maintenance and queries.
What do you want to achieve in the near future?
I am very happy in my role as Finance Officer and wish to
further my knowledge and skills within this role.
How can the community contact you?
