SHIP ISLAND

Below the arms of yellowwood and muscle wood trees there lies an

abandoned palace which is touched by the bouquet of flowers from the shrubs which fought for months with the bushes and headed out. This palace is in an area called vio-fa it is an island with 7 houses and a small beautiful river. The name was given after the couple who lived in that palace named violet and Fabio. They both were from a rich family which gained good name and fame in their area. They loved each other from their schooling. At some instance this was known to their parents but parents of both doesn’t want them to marry each other in their place where they live because they thought this may damage their name in the society hence they asked violet and Fabio to move to the farm house present in an island. As per the wish of their parents they both moved out from

their house and boarded a glider to reach that beautiful island. In the midst of their travel the wing of the glider damaged and lost its control and the glider now targets to the sea. They jumped out and opened their parachutes and landed in a new island where they sew people half dressed speaking a new language. They didn’t ask them who they are? Where are you from? Then they moved along the mud road. At the end of the road they found an old man he wished them and asked them to get in.

Then the couple said about their entry to this island and introduced them and said about their family then they asked him about the island and the people and the old man said that” this is a quiet place and I do not know anything about the people still now no one have spoke to me when I was 15 my parents died during the construction of this palace because of the cyclone which threw them from the top of building and they both got hurt in their head and died. Their wish was to

construct two floors but they died on the completion of first floor. After that at the age of 23 I started to construct and at the age of 57 I completed it now am 82. I maintained this place till my 59 after that I was affected by an unknown disease which makes me to lose consciousness for a minute or sometimes more or less than that. Due to nobodies help I avoided moving so far to collect food. Only mushrooms make me to live due to frequent rain mushrooms grow in larger amount I collect and fry them in fire and eat and my only wish is to sleep in a room filled with gold, I always get that kind of feeling in my dream.

Then the couple asked the old man about his parents he said that his mother was from a poor family and his father was a rickshaw puller in the city they reached this island when they were travelling in a boat to some place due to high waves the boat was rocking and it upsets and they swim very hard and reached this place due to no means of connection they decided to stay here and that’s all I do know anything more about them but they loved me very much till the time they were alive they fed me with fried potatoes, mushroom pasta, cabbage…..etc. I cannot forget them at all. Then the old man permitted the couple to stay in his palace. As these couples were from city they know the art of travelling by means of boat from one place to another. The next day the couple moved to see what’s there in this island after some time they returned with some fruits and good mushrooms and some light weight stem of trees. They fried the mushrooms and tasted all the fruits after having this they planned to build a small boat to move away from this place. They collected many light weight stems and strong creepers to tie the woods and made a small boat which can be able to withstand them and the old man. It took 5 days to build this boat after this the couple and the old man left the palace and moved to the boat and the couple

started to row the boat but it is not comfortable for them to row because the waves are too strong and it just tries to push them back to the island itself after 10 to 15 they decided to return to the island itself because this travel may lead them to danger and they returned. During that time they saw the people from the 7 houses just starring at them because they do not know what’s that they built and what they are doing.

Then the three walked to the palace and they lived there happily for 6 years and now the age of the old man was 88. His condition turned very bad. One day evening they were enjoying their food and laughing after that the old man moved to his bed when he was yet to touch his bed he suddenly become unconscious and fell down as soon as he fell down the floor gave a crack and breaks and so the old man fell into it. Then the couple lighted some wood and

moved into the hole they cleared the broken wood pieces on the old man and made him to lie on their lap. They just rolled their head all around and saw the room completely covered with gold biscuits. At that time the old man struggled for his life at last before his last breathe comes out he saw the place surrounded by gold and he smiled at the couple and said “my life gets satisfied here” then they took him out of the basement and buried him at the side of the palace and built a tomb completely made of gold. Then they moved into the palace and they want to discover the reason behind the presence of gold biscuits at the basement.

The very next morning they again moved to the basement with lighted woods and they saw that the room was very long compared to the palace. And they were confused of how it would be very long hence they started to think and they planned to clear the area near to the palace to find the area of the long room. Then they moved to the people and explained to them about the thing they saw at the basement and they want all of them to clear the area to find the truth behind it. Then they all were digging around it took nearly 1 and half years to dig it out. At last they found that it was the ship which got hold due to some control loss and it sank and because of running water sediments began to settle on it as years began to run the sediments took a heap and created this island.

The couple then asked the people how do they settled here then they actioned them about their entry the thing the couple understood from their action is they lived in the nearby island and due to discomfort they moved to this island. Then the couple explained the thing present and the value of that. Then all of them made a good boat and rowed it with full force and reached the city. Then all settled in the city and lived as rich with the gold they took from the ship
