CAREER SUMMARY:

A total of 13 years of continuous experiences, almost spent on leading construction companies & Engineering Consulting Companies, 6 years with the leading established construction companies in the QATAR (GCC). In which half of it is on technical manager position working on a variety of projects as detailed below. Excellent performances, managerial skills with good leadership, qualities that have enabled me to head TECHNICAL Department of large organizations. Latest Duties, Responsibilities & Achievements: 1-Design stage: • Works as Design Manager collaboration with the Design Engineers and clients for which the

building work is being carried out to ensure Architectural and design requirements are in line with the client’s vision and strategy.

Achievement: drawings production in good quality for the concept design, schematic, working drawings&shopdrawing • Reviews and provides input for building architecture concept regarding design techniques.

Achievement: Value engineering which is positive impact to all parties. • Coordinates and monitors activities of companies engaged in preparing drawings and

specification documents to ensure adherence project concepts and timeframes. Liaises with respective Project Manager to inform of progress and any issues.

Achievement: always on the baseline track. • For any in-house design projects creates designs and prepares drawings, plans, specifications,

architectural finishes , materials to be used, perspectives and color studies in compliance with architectural standards, codes, and regulation Inter faces regularly with the respective Project Manager.

• Identifies critical issues and provides suggestions and proposal to overcome these or

recommends alternative plans. Achievement: most likely at design stage and optimistic for execution at site. (At the interview I will clarify this statement). • Full coordination with Local Authorities.

2-Execution stage

The duties to HSE department: • Preparing Project Evacuation Plans on monthly basis in coordination with HSE Department. • Providing project information drawings (Welfare Facilities/Emergency Arrangements/Access

and Egress/Emergency Assembly Points/Etc…) relevant to HSE Dept. upon request. • Assisting HSE Dept. for designing project specific safety signs. • Providing required details/drawings for HSE/GEO Reports which are being submitted to the

Client and Ministry of Environment.

The duties to PLANNING department: • Preparing the shop drawings log for civil /structural and other electro-mechanical services and

providing weekly update for tracking the activities according to the baseline schedule. • Assisting the planning department about the design elements form conceptual stage to shop

drawing stage for planning the activities and monitoring on weekly basis. • Preparing the supporting document in form of chart representation for monitoring the progress

at site infrastructure activities. • Quantity take-off from the drawings which helps the planning team for preparation for costing

and evaluation purpose. • Make awareness and Clarifying the project team for design and scope changes.

The duties to civil department:

• Preparing the logistic plan including the hoists and tower cranes. • Maintains accurate reports of contract work and other assigned activities, reviews progress. • Performance and completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims. • Assists the Construction Manager to monitor and resolve matters such as work procedures,

complaints, and construction problems. • Reviews and approves changes to contract based on the recommendations of the

Construction. • Reviews logs and records of work performed on the respective project. Manages preparation

of periodic and special reports as required for. Reviews accuracy of reports of contract work and other assigned activities, review progress, performance and completion of reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims.

• My duties as engineering manager: • Job Purpose:

Manage and prepare all shop drawing, and quantity surveying documents related to the project. Prepare monthly and weekly reports. Prepare owner, and third-party contractor billing statements.

• Critical-Duties: Provide and gather all the required technical documents such as drawings, manuals and instructions for construction team Conduct quantity surveying for all executed work Prepare third-party billing Prepare and follow-up the documentation for claims and variation orders


• Routine-Duties: Ensure that all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the Engineer. Ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan Prepare time schedule for executed work versus planned Follow up and log the cashing of invoices from the client Preparing monthly report presenting the current situation of executed work Define and implement corrective actions where deficiencies are detected Ensure safe work environments
