Easy-fix

The Easy-fix system is a substantialbracket designed to simplify the fittingof the heavier beams and shelves. Itcomes supplied with plugs and screws.Once fitted to the wall, the beam is secured on the bracket with discreetfastenings from under the bracket, thisallows easy release for redecorating.

See page 7 for fixingillustration

If the Easy-fix system is not specified: we supply three M10 x300mm threaded metal bars that tapinto pre-drilled holes in the back ofthe beam. The wall should then bedrilled with 12mm holes to acceptthese bars. You will need to provideyour own additional adhesives.

Great Beams and Deep Beams are cut from the heart of the oak log and therefore reveal lots of character including knots, splits and shakes. Every beam is unique. Skilful workmanship further enhances the beam with progressive levels of ageing (Rustic, Dressed, Aged and Extremely Aged). Each beam is then beautifully finished with your choice of colour. Please Note: Great Beams and Deep Beams are made from Air-dried Oak and are not available in Prime Oak or Pine.

These hand-painted Brick and Stone effect fascias provide an attractiveway to finish the front of your stove opening. Made from one hour fire-ratedMDF, they can easily be cut to size on-site or even notched to fit over asmaller hearth.

The Square ‘Brick’ Fascia is supplied inthree generous pieces, enabling you tocreate the exact opening size required.

The Arched ‘Brick’ Fascia is supplied with two generous uprights,ideal for creating the required opening height. We just need youto tell us the opening width you need so that we can supply thecorrect arched piece.

Wall panels are produced from Solid Oak strips of varying lengthand thickness mounted on 6mm MDF to create a random effect.They interlock on two adjacent edges and each panel covers anarea 1200mm by 420mm.

The surface texture of each individual Oak piece varies to providean attractive rustic finish of differing shades.

‘Stone’ and Beam Set

The ‘Stone’ and Beam Set comprises two generous uprightsin a stone finish, ready to be trimmed at the base to createthe correct opening height. The uprights can be set to anyopening width but with the recommendation that the beamabove be 500mm (20”) longer to create a suitable overhang.

Please check the chimney breast size though!

The illustration shows an 860mm (34”) opening with a 1370mm (54”) beam.

Dimensions, Timber and Finishes Great Beams and Deep Beams in ‘Rustic’, ‘Dressed’ ‘Aged’ and ‘Extremely Aged’ finishes are producedfrom solid air-dried European Oak, cutfrom the heart of the log. They featurenatural knots, splits and shakes.

Fascia Beams and Panels and Shelvesare produced from kiln-dried EuropeanOak and also may feature some naturalknots, splits and shakes.

Hollow Beams and Shelves and alsoSteel Beam Covers are fabricated from21mm kiln-dried oak. Thus they can bemade to any size and are much lighterin weight than a corresponding solidbeam. Other beams, surrounds and shelves in the brochure are manufactured from first quality kiln-dried timber.

Timber being a natural product, is subject to a degree of movement under extreme conditions. Whilst wewould expect very few problems wecannot guarantee its performance.Painted shelves and surrounds aremanufactured from high quality MDF.

We offer a made-to-measure service on most of the productswithin this brochure. Beams can be cut to any length.
