All knives ground and set by wet grinding on a flat surface.

Robust and portable, this electrically powered, water cooled machine is fully reversible.

A constant stream of water is directed to the working surface of the stone, which both lubricates and cools the knife. The water is returned to the bath in a continuous operation.

Honing Machine

This compact, portable machine is ideal for giving the finishing touch to knives/blades etc. creating the final cutting edge.

The machine is fitted with an electrically powered motor, 2 fully adjustable and replaceable honing wheels, finished in silver stone enamel, British made and fully guaranteed.

The guide has 2 predetermined angles, one of 7½°to give a quick keen edge, after which the blade can be bevelled off in the usual way. Where desired, knives can be laid flat on the stone or at any intermediate angle. The knife having been sharpened on one side of the stone, the motor is reversed and the knife finished on the other side. The second angle of 15° gives a more robust edge to cleavers and table knives.
