“The seniors are caring, approachable and keen to teach; the work environment is also fantastic. It is simply a gem of a department!”Jensen NgMedical Officer Trainee
“Impressive commitment to education. Myriad opportunities for learning both in and out of the operating theatre. A wealth of formal teaching sessions and the even more valuable resource of approachable senior staff that is invariably willing to edify and enlighten. A close-knit department with a strong culture of inquiry and research.”Oriana NgRegistrar
“SingHealth carries the finest distillation of minds and hands and I want this to be the basis of my core.”Ng Bang TeenAssociate Consultant
Medical Students QuotationWith a strong teaching culture at SGH, I truly felt excited to come each morning, to
interact, learn and perform alongside this integrated team of professionals that display
much enthusiasm and pride in their work. July 2012
Rigorous teaching, good mentors and people in the department play an influential role of
an enjoyable elective posting. My elective posting at SGH Anaesthesia had surpassed my
expectations, and I would definitely consider anaesthesia training at SingHealth Residency!
May 2012
My three weeks with SGH Dept of Anaesthesiology have been extremely fruitful, with a
good balance of teaching, hands‐on practice, and exposure. I have fufilled my objective of
getting a taste of what life in Anaesthesia is like. For this I am grateful to the entire
department who supervised and taught me despite their heavy work requirements. I have
thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to joining the department in the
future. July 2012
