    The HDCP-KEY ROM shall be protected and managed for its information inside. In servicing this ROM, therefore, take the following information pro-tection/management measures.

    1) When disposing of the component parts and PWBs, destruct the IC itself in a proper way.

    (For repairing or replacing the component parts and PWBs as well as clearing those in stock)

    Attaching/Detaching the Stand

    Before attaching (or detaching) the stand, unplug the ACcord from the AC INPUT terminal.Before performing work spread cushioning over the basearea to lay the TV on. This will prevent it from beingdamaged.

    CAUTION

    Attach the stand in the correct direction.Do not remove the stand from the TV unless using anoptional wall mount bracket to mount it.Be sure to follow the instructions. Incorrect installationof the stand may result in the TV falling over.

    Setting the TV on the Wall

    CAUTION

    This TV should be mounted on the wall with boththe AN-37AG2 (SHARP) wall mount bracket and theAN-37P30 (SHARP) attachment of the wall mountbracket. The TV cannot be mounted when withonly the AN-37AG2 wall mount bracket. The use ofother wall mount brackets may result in an unstableinstallation and may cause serious injuries.Installing the TV requires special skill that shouldonly be performed by qualified service personnel.Customers should not attempt to do the workthemselves.     You can ask a qualified service professional aboutusing an optional AN-37AG2 bracket to mount the TVto the wall.Carefully read the instructions that come with thebracket before beginning work.

    [1] ADJUSTMENT PROCEDUREThe adjustment values are set to the optimum conditions at the factory before shipping. If a value should become improper or an adjustment isrequired due to part replacement, make an adjustment according to the following procedure.

    Multiple lines of blue characters appearing on the display indicate that the unit is now in the adjustment process mode.

    When you fail to enter the adjustment process mode (the display is the same as normal startup), retry the procedure.

    4) To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC cord from the outlet to make a forced shutdown. (When thepower was turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC cord and plug it again. In this case, wait 10 seconds or so before plugging.)

    CAUTION: Use due care in handling the information described here lest your users should know how to enter the adjustment process mode. If thesettings are tampered in this mode, unrecoverable system damage may result.
