The campaign headquarters is located on West Commonwealth Avenue. Quirk-Silva is completing her first term in the State Assembly and running for re-election in California’s 65 th Assembly District. United States Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, California State Senator Lou Correa and California Assemblymember Tom Daly were in attendance. Local elected officials also attended including Fullerton City Councilmembers Doug Chaffee and Jan Flory, Anaheim City Councilmember Jordan Brandman, and North Orange County Community College Trustee Loenard Lahtinin. More than 150 volunteers and supporters attended the event. “I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished in the State Assembly,” stated Assemblymember Quirk-Silva, “This year we passed a balanced budget and created a rainy day fund to Sharon Quirk-Silva is completing her first term in the California State Assembly representing the 65 th District. Sharon is Chair of the Assembly Veterans Affairs Committee. She served the city of Fullerton as an elementary school teacher, city council member, and mayor. The 65 th Assembly District includes the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, La Palma, and Stanton.
