Do not pull out the adapter in the state of power-on.
Do not supply electricity by USB port.

Basic Operation
Connection: As is shown,to connect thin client and host PC by switch(by LAN or WLAN)
Power on:Connect with the power supply and press the power button.
Power off or restart: By the power button of thin client.
Display: VGA or HDMI option,please choose one according to the corresponding monitor.
Terminal Management: All setup mentioned in the manual can be done by terminal
management software in the server.

Login Steps
Two steps for zero client to login server:
Step1: Search server automatically(the server can be searched by system
automatically). Or enter server IP address by user.
Step2: Login server
Method 1: Select IP address, enter user name and password, click login.
Method 2: Login server through R1 management software.(create desktop by one
key press and login. )
Note: Here introduce necessary operation steps for login server. Other functions are
introduced one by one starting from next page.

Click setting button on the bottom right corner, come into control panel(no
initial password)

Upgrade
Note:The box ahead of save password, auto login and switch linux OS can
be ticked.
Network Settings
Click “Network Setting”to start: Cable network setting is with two modes: dynamic IP”&“Static IP”
Network parameter can not be changed in dynamic IP. All parameter was obtained from HDCP server.
In Static IP status, make IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and etc the same as current IP network.
The purpose of network test is to check whether it’s connected between zero clients and server.

Wireless network setting:
Click “Search”, near WIFI hotspot will be searched out. Click and enter password
to connect WIFI.
Password format: NONE, WEP and WPA-JGKA-DAF
Click “Connect”, connecting progress bar will show. WIFI will disconnect when
click “Disconnect”.

Displaying Setting
“Displaying Setting”includes followings:
“Displaying Setting”includes modes, vertrefresh and depth. Multiple modes can be used.
Default vertrefresh is 60HZ. Depth is the same as remote desktop’s. Support 16pp and 32bpp.

Other Settings
Click “Other Setting”for following setting:
Language Setting: Setting language for interface and keyboard.
Functions:Device redirection,connecting automatically when disconnected,
customize logo, appear local server name, delay automatic connecting.
Safety Setting: Setting or modify password.

Upgrade
Click “Upgrade”for following setting:
“System info”show zero client specification and version info.
“Upgrade”includes local update and restore defaults.
Local Update:Copy“R1 update.ta”to USB disk(pls don’t use U disk
which has been use for boot disk), Click local upgrade and it will upgrade
automatically.
Restore Defaults:Restore system to default settings.

Note: Pls keep power on and wait patiently during upgrade. And don’t
move zero client or plug USB disk out.
