SPRING/SUMMER 2018 STUDIO PROGRAMSSPRING 2018 TEN-WEEK SESSIONSTen-week courses allow students of all levels to explore glassmaking. No glassworking experience is required (unless otherwise noted), but participants must be at least 10 years of age for flameworking and 14 for glassblowing. Parents are encouraged to register with their children and are required to attend classes with children 10 –14 years of age. Classes meet once each week, 7–10 pm. Each class begins the week of March 5. Tuition for the entire 10 weeks is $510, which covers basic supplies. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

SPRING 2018 WEEKEND WORKSHOPSWeekend workshops, held on Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am – 4 pm, offer students the opportunity to study glassworking without making a long-term commitment. Participants must be at least 10 years of age for flameworking and 14 for glassblowing. Parents are encouraged to register with their children and are required to attend classes with children 10 –14 years of age. Tuition for each weekend workshop is $270. All hot work requires overnight cooling in an annealer. Work created on Sunday may be picked up Monday or shipped for an additional fee.

P R A C T I C E O P P O RT U N I T I E SThe Studio will remain open (by request) after class on Saturdays so that students in glassblowing and flameworking workshops may rent practice time. Please contact us for details.

SUMMER 2018 INTENSIVE COURSESImmerse yourself in glassmaking. We provide excellent instruction by top artists and proximity to the world’s largest collection of glass. Tuition is $850 for a one-week class and $1,600 for a two-week class. Room and board is additional.
Apply online by March 15 ($20.00 application fee). We will notify you of your acceptance by March 30.
Please be aware that this session occurs at the same time as a car race at Watkins Glen: local hotels book quickly. Room and board is available through The Studio; however, if you are getting your own housing, please book early.
