Social Media Strategy*SHAPE can market themselves by posting new workouts, recipes, and beauty tips.
*Twitter can have a once a month give-away for SHAPE. For example, give out to followers free 5lbs dumb bells. This will encourage more people to get engaged in SHAPE because they are receiving free things!
*Facebook can have a day where people post pictures of themselves reading and/or receiving SHAPE Magazine
YouTube• SHAPE can start posting videos on
YouTube• They would allow people to watch
videos of the workouts SHAPE includes in the magazine issues.
• This would more than likely increase the number of women who use the workouts because they are able to understand the moves more easily
BLOGGING• Make readers aware of new products,
workouts, recipes and other up and coming promotions
• By reading and following up on blogs, SHAPE can learn what readers and subscribers are wanting more of and less of from their magazine. This is very beneficial seeing that it can gain better reviews and lead to more consumers.
Public Relations• Use Public Relations by
announcing promotional events occurring in order to create more talk about SHAPE Magazine and the event both before and after it occurs
Evaluate Success• Increase the number of followers on
Twitter and friends on Facebook• Become a YouTube partner to allow SHAPE
to receive the benefits of putting advertisements on your page and videos.
• Maintain communication with Bloggers to see if they are using the information provided to them

• Things that might be a cost issue would be when keeping up with all the talk about SHAPE and supplying the prizes for contests and promotions
