SPACE DELIVERED ON TIME AND DEFECT FREE

297,000M²

The 2016 financial year was in many ways a foundation year

for SHAPE; same company, new name. We remained focused

on providing the best possible project experience, on time

and defect free delivery, and a great place for our employees

to work.

COLLABORATING WITH PARTNERS AND CLIENTS

With the support of our subcontractor and consultant partners

nationally, SHAPE handed over to its clients more than 297,000 m2

of space on time with zero defects. Some of the key projects

delivered include Challenger (Sydney), Allens Linklaters (Brisbane),

Ovolo Woolloomooloo (Sydney), ATO (Perth), Noarlunga Hospital

(Adelaide) and Canberra Hospital.

OUR OPERATING CULTURE

The SHAPE family features some of the brightest talent in Australia

and we work hard to attract, retain and nurture our people. After all,

our people are SHAPE.

In 2008, SHAPE started on its Human Synergistics (HS) Organisational

Culture Inventory journey. In FY16, SHAPE is delighted to have

been awarded the coveted HS Transformational Award – awarded

to companies who have moved their culture into the ‘Constructive

Benchmark’, which reflects the top 15 per cent quartile globally.

MATES IN CONSTRUCTION

This year we were most proud to receive full Accreditation from

Australia’s leading industry suicide prevention organisation, Mates in

Construction, with over 97 per cent of our people completing General

Awareness training. This cause is so very important to us, and our

industry; to raise awareness for workers to receive practical and

professional help when they need it the most.

SAFETY FIRST

Our path to perfect safety can only be accomplished by insisting

on safety first and safety now. SHAPE recently launched a mobile

phone application to assist with a range of safety activities; such as

quality management, incident reporting and site safety walks. With

an unwavering focus on continuous improvement, we are working to

change the way our industry does business.

SO, WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

While a mature brand on the Australian landscape, SHAPE fosters

a genuine learning culture and has a relentless focus on working

smarter to keep improving client experience and our own efficiency.

Our forward order book excites me. Projects for the coming year

are sophisticated and are pushing boundaries in so many ways.

No matter the size or complexity, our desire stays the same.

To delight our clients. And theirs.

After 27 years of transforming property, we continue to shape the

project journey for our stakeholders and bring spaces to life.
