I write today expressing my interest in civil engineering positions within multidisciplinary firms. I am

particularly interested in the areas of civil design, project management and construction management.

I recently completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in which I majored in structural engineering at the

Queensland University of Technology obtaining a GPA of 4.8.

I have previous working experience with AECOM. In this role, I was involved with construction

management, contract administration, quality assurance and traffic control assessments. Furthermore, I was

involved in the Queensland Reconstruction Authority Submissions via on-site road inspections for road

failures due to flood damage, assisting the funding process and reporting.

Through my experience, I have gained substantial insight into the issues of engineering and management;

learnt to provide effective leadership within a group and acquired effective time management skills.

Prior to my civil engineering degree, I completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the Queensland

University of Technology. Whilst employed as an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer, I was involved in the

detailed analysis and design of bottle quality work instructions and was given significant responsibility during

on-site inspections.

I consider myself to be professional, presentable and personable. I am a self-starter, hard-working, driven,

motivated and have a desire to succeed.
