Shale ShakersFlo-Line Cleaner 513 and 514

Derrick uses only the highest quality materials in the manufacturing of the Flo-Line Cleaner 500 the most powerful and versatile shale shaker in the world today. The single-side tensioning system shortens screen panel replacement time to less than one minute per panel and can be configured for operation from either the left or right side.

The FLC 500 is powered by two Super G vibrating motors which provide an unprecedented continuous linear vibratory force of over 7.0 Gs. This increase in G force at the screen surface has been found to dramatically improve the conveyance rate of a shale shaker, enabling maximum cuttings removal efficiency.

The FLC 513 has processed in excess of 560 GPM of a 17.8 PPG fluid with 175 mesh screens. The available screening area per API RP 13 E for the FLC 513 is 24.9 square foot with the Pyramid screen and 35.7 square foot with the Pyramid Plus screen.

Respectively, the FLC 514 is capable of processing in excess of 900 GPM of a 9.1 PPG fluid with 210 mesh screens. The available screening area per API RP 13 E for the FLC 514 is 33.2 square foot with the Pyramid screen and 47.6 square foot with the Pyramid Plus screen.

Two Derrick Super G vibrating motors generate the high G, linear motion effect on the FLC 500 series shakers. Super G motors feature a "greased-for-life" bearing design that eliminates the maintenance requirements of the motor. The FLC 500 shaker is available in a 3 panel (FLC 513, operating at 7.0 G's) or 4 panel (FLC 514, operating at 7.3 G's) design.

The FLC 500 Series AWD is engineered for faster and easier deck angle adjustment. It is capable of operating from -1 to +7 on the FLC 514 and from -1 to +5 on the FLC 513.

Because of its modular design, both the FLC 513 and FLC 514 units can be configured to accommodate up to three 10" desander cones and up to twenty 4" desilter cones, allowing the unit to be used as a mud cleaner.

Additionally, the Flo-Line Primer - a conveyor designed to remove large drilled solids and hydrated clay (gumbo) prior to processing by fine screens - can be mounted over the unit, which allows the FLC 500 to operate as an integrated Cascade machine.

Vacu-Flo Degasser

Derrick Vacu-Flo degassers have a more efficient vertical tank design than traditional horizontal degassers, offering over 200% more surface area than alternative designs. This additional capacity results in no increase in vessel size, tank space requirements, unit weight, or reconfiguration of pit arrangements.

A 5 HP vacuum pump, capable of pulling 29" Hg, draws mud into the degassing chamber where decreased pressure causes gas bubbles to surface from the fluid more rapidly.

A stacked, corrugated fiberglass leaf arrangement and multiple feed ports provide higher fluid impact, thinner layers of mud dispersion, and greater turbulence for more efficient gas removal.

Derrick's Vacu-Flo degassers offer convenient access to the leaf assembly and float mechanisms (without having to remove the vessel lid) through an oversized access door. This feature significantly reduces downtime and maintenance costs compared to other units.

Hydrocyclones

4" Hydrocyclone

INCLUDEPICTURE "http://www.derrickequipment.com/image/product/hydro2.jpg" \* MERGEFORMATINET Derrick's polyurethane hydrocyclones offer operators a high-tech 4", (80 GPM) cone while providing contractors an economical replacement for less efficient older equipment.

The 1-5/8" circular feed is tangentially blended into the cone entry as a 1-1/4" high by 5/8" wide rectangle. This rectangular ramp entry minimizes turbulence in the upper portion of the cone allowing the solids to move quickly.

Service and replacement of the bottom cone section is made quick and easy by A.N.S.I. butress threaded bottom sections. The apex is available in three styles; tri-nut, snap-on or cut-off. Derrick's unique unibody construction eliminates excess parts and seams where excessive wear begins.

Derrick's 4" desilter cones efficiently remove drilled solids as fine as 12 microns from drilling mud. When combined with our full line of solids control equipment, your drilling operation will have the best chance of removing detrimental drilled solids on the first circulation.10" Hydrocyclone

Derrick's polyurethane hydrocyclones offer operators a high-tech 10" (500 GPM) cone while providing contractors an economical replacement for less efficient older equipment.

The circular feed is tangentially blended into the cone entry as a narrow rectangle. This rectangular entry minimizes turbulence in the upper section of the cone, allowing the solids to move quickly.

The cone is divided into three easy to replace or service sections which are held together by non-corrosive stainless steel clamps. The joints between each section are metal reinforced.

The Victaulic connections for the feed and overflow are steel reinforced and the vortex finder is steel lined. Ceramic lower sections are available for longer life.

The apex is available in 1.0, 1.375, and 1.5 inch sizes.Inline Desanders

Derrick desanders make separations between 40 and 100 microns, and offer the flexibility of mounting either one, two, or three 10" desander cones over a cone underflow pan.

Each 10" hydrocyclone processes 500 gpm at 75 feet of head, allowing for a maximum capacity of 1,500 gpm. The underflow can be discarded or directed onto a vibrating screen for further processing.

Derrick desanders are also available in vertical or inclined manifold stand-alone modelsInline Desilters

The Derrick inline desilters are designed to remove silt sized (12-75 microns) solids from drilling fluids.

The Derrick 4" desilter cone is made from lightweight, abrasion resistant polyurethane, for long life and easy maintenance.

The inline desilter is available in 8,10,12,16 and 20 cone models, which results in a maximum capacity of 80 GPM with 75 feet of head at the desilter manifold. The Derrick inline desilter is also available in stand-alone models.Round Desilters

Derrick 4" polyurethane hydrocyclones feature a uni-body construction designed for maximum performance and are available with ceramic inserts for unmatched durability. Each cone has a capacity of 80 GPM at 75 feet of head.

The Derrick 4" desilter cone is made from lightweight, abrasion resistant polyurethane, for long life and easy maintenance. Derrick round desilters are simple to operate and easy to maintain. Shut-off valves on each cone inlet permit individual cone removal and inspection without interrupting operation of the desilter.

The Derrick 4" polyurethane hydrocyclones last more than twice as long as conventional cones. They are also easier to operate and unplug if oversized solids block the underflow.CentrifugesDE-1000 Centrifuge VFD

The Derrick DE-1000 Variable Frequency Drive centrifuge offers the ultimate flexibility in system control enabling it to handle a wide range of feed slurries.

Automatic load sensing and feed pump control enable automated optimization. The bowl assembly has a speed range of 0 to 4000 RPM, which produces an internal acceleration of more than 3000 G's. The conveyor is capable of differential speeds from 1 to 100 RPM.

The system consists of 2 explosion-proof inverter duty motors. The first is a 50 HP motor directly connected to the bowl and the second is a 10 HP motor connected to the conveyor gearbox input pinion shaft. Each of the motor drives and other peripheral devices are controlled by a Windows-based Pentium PC. This allows the unit to be controlled remotely and provides unlimited flexibility in control.

DE-1000 Centrifuge FHD

The FHD (Full Hydraulic Drive) centrifuge is designed for conditions where the feed characteristics are either unknown or variable.

The DE-1000 FHD can process twenty pounds per gallon weighted mud as well as flocculated ultrafine solids slurries. The DE-1000 FHD produces a variable bowl speed of up to 4000 RPM and internal centrifugal acceleration in excess of 3000 G's.

The centrifuge comes installed on a rugged, portable oilfield skid with two point effluent discharge.

DE-1000 Centrifuge GBD

This belt-drive centrifuge unit features the same skid, bowl assembly, and consumables as the FHD centrifuge.

The DE-1000 GBD is fully installed on a rugged portable skid and is driven up to 4000 rpm by a 50HP motor. The rotating assembly is coupled to a gear box, fitted complete with a spring loaded torque out assembly with manual reset.

DE-CP Premium 250 Centrifugal Pumps

The Derrick Premium 250 pump series incorporates proven oilfield features including a heavy-duty 2-1/2" diameter shaft. Standard features include replaceable fluid casing wear pad, SKF premium bearings and tungsten carbide mechanical seal.

The Derrick Premium 250 pump parts are typically interchangeable with industry standard type pumps.

Derrick's large diameter shaft is designed with a replaceable shaft sleeve, allowing packing wear area replacement independent of the shaft. Minimal shaft deflection aids in packing life. The Derrick Premium 250 replaceable casing wear pad allows worn area replacement without replacing the entire casing.

Horizontal packages are skidded and include the Derrick Premium 250 pump, explosion proof electric motor, and coupling with OSHA type guard. Starters are optional.

Mud Agitator

INCLUDEPICTURE "http://www.derrickequipment.com/image/product/Mud_ver.jpg" \* MERGEFORMATINET All Derrick agitators feature a "C" face motor coupled to a rugged oilfield gearbox, which eliminates misalignment and troublesome couplings. This configuration promotes longer motor and gearbox bearing life.

Derrick uses a Helical-Bevel gear unit to turn the impeller. This highly efficient gearbox provides 95% power transfer, which is approximately 30%, more than a worm drive gearbox. Helical-Bevel gearboxes are preferred over worm gear arrangements because of their power efficiency, reliability, and lower operating temperatures.

Operating at a noise level of less than 75 decibels, the Derrick DE-AG agitators are significantly quieter than the industry standard of 90 decibels.

The Derrick DE-AG agitator is available in both horizontal and vertical configurations - sizes range from 5 to 30 HP. Derrick DE-AG agitators carry a two year warranty.
