INTER-COLLEGIATE SINGING COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY SHAIKH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

The function started with prayer song by the teacher trainees of Shaikh College of Education. Mrs. I. P. Sutar, Principal, Shaikh College of Education, welcomed the participants for the function and appreciated the efforts of the college in having organized this competition. She welcomed the gathering and gave a brief profile of the activities organized by the centre. Large number of students from various colleges attended the singing competition, which focused on patriotic songs. The contingent from RLS Degree College won the first prize and Samanway Blind Foundation and Lingraj Degree College won second and Third Prize respectively.

HOSPITAL, PG & RESEARCH CENTERA.M Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in coordination with Shri Sarvajanik Gajanan Mandal organized Preventive Genus Epidemicus camp for Dengue at Londa. Participants were educated about dengue, its causes and its symptoms. A brief idea about the basic preventive measures to be followed was given to the participated.

More than 3000 people participated in the program and were given dose. The program was coordinated by Dr. R. Y. Nadaf and RMO Dr. I. A. Khatib and supported by Dr. G. M. Moogi, Principal, A. M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital, PG & Research Center.

CLAY MODELING COMPETITION ORGANIZED AT SHAIKH CENTRAL SCHOOL

The competition was the perfect platform to ignite the creativity of the children to meet their colourful desires and needs. Students made beautiful flowers, birds, animals, houses and parks etc.

Principal, Mr. Simon Lobo said that young minds can think big. With play dough it becomes quite easy and exciting for the students to shape and colour their ideas. Clay modeling helps children to improve their motor skills and also enhance the creativity.

Shaikh Central School organized clay modeling competition Mrs. Parveen Attar and Mrs. Josephine Gunti, Vice Principals, for the primary students at School premises. The objective of Shaikh Central School were also present during the event.this competition was to stimulate the imagination of the

UNICEF DAY CELEBRATED AT A. M. SHAIKH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, PG & RESEARCH CENTRE

On the eve of UNICEF Day the college also organized a seminar on UNICEF. Mr. Ninganna Navi from A.M.Shaikh Homoeopathic College highlighted the basic activities of the UNICEF and also spoke about various campaigns taken up by UNICEF. He also stressed on the GOBI campaign for child health revolution. Ms. Isha student of A. M. Shaikh homoeopathic Medical College spoke about the UNICEF organization and explained the GOBI campaign for child health revolution.

The entire program was organized by Dr. Virupakshi along with Dr. Vivekanand Kolvekar and Dr. Nukul Kakade. The event was supported by Dr. C.M. Moogi, Principal, A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College. The seminar concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Asma.

The students conducted field work on UNICEF at Mahesh Foundation. The college provided materials, stationeries, food and milk to all the students of the above said organization.

With an objective to create and educate children about the importance and consumption of fruits in their regular diet, The kinder garden students of Shaikh Central School celebrated fruits day at Shaikh Campus. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Josephine Gunti explained the importance of fruits intake in diet for mental and physical growth. The tiny tots also learned more about the taste, smell, colour and texture of each fruit. Each student brought two variety of fruit that was first displayed and explained to the students and thereafter cut to make a fruit salad that was offered to the children.

Children and teachers sang the fruit rhyme with great zeal and enthusiasm, enjoying the moment of joy and happiness on this special day. The event was organized by the kindergarten teachers.
