    • Tips for successful installation!

Whatever technique is used for fixingSGGPLANILAQUE EVOLUTION, youmust always:

    - install the product in front of anopaque surface, with the lacqueredface towards the wall.

    - fix the lacquered glass to a supportingwall or surface that is trueand flat, clean, dry and free of any aggressive agents.

    - place any of the light colouredlacquered glasses in front of auniformly pale surface.

    - allow a gap of 1 - 2mm between theedges of two glass panels.

    - ensure compliance with currentnational regulations.

    - avoid locating the glass too close tointense sources of heat. If used nearto aheater for example, the glassmustnot be exposed to a temperature ofmorethan50°c. Inkitchens, donotallowthe glass to come into direct contactwith flames or strong heat sources(e.g.ovens, cookerhobs, veryhotutensilsor pans) as this could the product tocrack or discolour over a period of time.

    - ensure that water is not allowed tocollect behind the glass, either byallowing sufficient drainage andventilation, or alternatively seal theperimeter with a suitable materialprovided the wall behind theSGG PLANILAQUE EVOLUTION is keptperfectly dry.

    • Installation

SGG PLANILAQUE EVOLUTION can only beused in interior applications and mustcomply with current national regulations.

    SGGPLANILAQUE EVOLUTION can be fixed:

    - mechanically, either into glazingchannels or trims, or with appropriatefixing screws.

    - adhesively, using neutral translucentadhesives, or double-sided whiteadhesive pads. If in doubt of thecompatibility of the adhesive, it isessential to test its reaction with thelacquer (and safety film backing ifappropriate). We strongly recommendalso using mechanical restraints, suchas top and bottom j-channels, inconjunction with any adhesive glazing.

SGG PLANILAQUE EVOLUTIONmust notbe fitted directly in front of nor behind astrong source of heat, eg a cooker hob.

    • Maintenance

Clean regularly with a soft, clean clothand a regular glass cleaning product(neutral and non-abrasive).
