to the practice of nursing, to elevate the standards

of nursing, and to promote the educational and pro-

fessional $tandards of nurses and nursing in this

territory. Expenditures from the Fund sball be made

upon wri t ten reql.1i s1 ti on of the chai rrnan of theBoard and attested by the Secretary for the payment

of all expenses necessary to carry out the provisions

of said sections. but in no event shall the total

expenses therefor exceed the total fees collected

and deposited to the credit of said fund_ The

comptroller shall report to the Board quarterly

the ronount of monies in the fund.

Section 27207. Nursing Education Pragrams~

a. Application for Approval

An institution desiring to conduct a nursing

education program to prepare professional or

practical nurses shall apply to the Board and

submit evidence that:

1. It is prepared to onrry out a sound pro-

fe&sional nursing education progrD..1JJ which

will prepare the graduate of that program

to practicei or practical nursing program

which will prepare graduates of that

program to practioe practical nursing

as it i$ defined in this law. as the

case may be. and

2. It is prepared to meet such other standards

as shall be established by this 1my and by

'the 1300.rd •.

b. Survey

A survey of the institution and its entire nursing

education program shall be made by the executive
