Strategy…

• Presiding Elders must provide the information

• Pastors can begin using Zoom!

• The church can loan sterilized (net connected) technology and train delegates on it

• Churches should choose delegates by July 7th.

• Zoom free version is 3 or less and 45 minutes.

• Google meets and Google Hangouts are free services for up to 1000 and unlimited.

• Does the Pastoral Report form have Christian Index and Messenger?

• Can the Christian Index subscription be electronic?

• Prepayment of all financial requirements.

• On-site Registration Each Day

• Clergy and Delegates present, registered and paid on Day 1 are present. Those not present, registered and paid are absent.

• Roll Call during Day 2 should take 15 minutes.

• We should complete the Roll Call in 15

Organization Virtual Conference Requirements: New-York Washington (July 30 – Aug 1)

• The Bishop sends the program to leaders and posts it on our website. (Date TBD)

• June 30th All Financial Obligations Due (Assessments, Pension, Etc…)

• July 1st Deadline to submit Missionary March videos/photos. A Sample video will be emailed

• July 7th Deadline for District Organizations to complete their financial commitments to Regional Organizations.

• July 7th Delegate List should be submitted to the Presiding Elder.

• July 7th Pastoral Reports Due (https://form.jotform.us/71448563165158)

• July 7th Registration Deadline (https://form.jotform.com/201543754748158O)

Organization Virtual Conference Requirements: New-York Washington (July 30 – Aug 1)

• July 7th Members and officers should email the President copies of receipts for subscriptions to the Christian Index and the Missionary Messenger. The President will mail a photo of the group of receipts (spread sheet) to the PE and Bishop. Communicate the online process as well as the District Agents for Pastor’s subscriptions.

• July 7th Presidents send their Annual Report (2 min video) and their written Annual Report to Rev. J. Dickey. The Annual Report video should be formatted using the following: (landscape, recorded in HD if possible, have someone record for you for video stability or use a stand). The written Report should follow the Bishops protocol/layout). Only 2 minutes will be aired.

• July 14th Boards should elect/nominate (as allowed by the Discipline) officers. Boards have scheduled meeting time at the Annual Conference. Additionally, I and/or my appointee will meet with board when requested.

• July 14th Organizations should settle with the Joint Board of Finance. Reports should be sent to Anthony Smoaks at [email protected] (Please CC the Chair in your email [email protected])

Pastors…

• Settle all financial obligations, specifically, assessments and askings for the pastor, the delegation, and probationers on or before July 7th, 2020.

• Complete online Pastoral Report by July 7th

• Provide a photo of pastoral family and church to your PE by July 7th

• Elect delegates/alternates by July 7th.

• Ordination will happen at a later time, where appropriate we can provide letters of authorization.

• Complete the electronic payment for subscriptions to the Christian index and the Missionary Messenger

• Note: We recruit as many $100 Marchers as possible. We will design a unique Missionary March experience. It will have taste and flair, so
