Introduction

If your School or College has a Twitter account, then you may wish to set up this automated

tweeting facility. Once you have followed the steps outlined below, a tweet will be sent

automatically to your followers each time a new research publication for your unit is added to the

RMS Profiles. The tweet will include the title of the publication and a reference to the article’s

Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Please note that only publications with a recorded DOI or URL in

RMS Profiles will be tweeted.

Sign up to dlvr.it using your Twitter account: Smart Social Media Automation at

You will receive confirmation email.

Enter the RSS Feed URL at the search box, for instance:

Click on ‘Connect’ at the UCD Publications Feed that is detected.

Step 4

You can rename the feed and modify your posting preferences. Once done, click on ‘Connect

Socials’.

Click on the ‘Start Posting’ button

Step 6

You can change settings by clicking on the ‘Feed Name’ and subsequently the ‘Settings’ option.

Select ‘Item Text’ for post content and optionally enter in a ‘Prefix’ or ‘Suffix’.

Suggested text would be #UCDResearch.

Once you have entered the preferred ‘Suffix’ click on ‘Save’.
