Set up a Bluehost account and create domain: 1. Go to the Bluehost website: http://go.fullstaqmarketer.com/bluehost   ● Click on the green “Get Started” button 

  

2. On the next page you will select a hosting plan: ● Click the green “Select” button for the BASIC plan 

 

 3. On the next page you will create a domain: NOTE: The first domain with Bluehost will be FREE.  

   

a. Simply type in a word (or words) of your choice  Some examples: theunstoppable, goingbeyond, digitalhero, freelancelife …etc. 

 

TIP: Just have fun with it! Don’t get caught up in trying to choose the perfect name. It’s not going to be perfect. An average domain 

name is better than no domain name. IF YOU CAN’T THINK UP A NAME JUST USE YOUR OWN.

 b. Next, leave the domain extension as .com 

 

 c. Click the blue “next” button. 

 4. Fill out the account, package and payment information. 

a. On the next page fill out the account info section. A business name is optional so you can leave it blank. 

  

b. For Package information click on the dropdown and select the 12-month price. This is an annual payment, NOT monthly. 

 c. Leave any/all package extras unchecked. You will not 

need these. 

  

d. Fill out payment information. 

    

e. Check off that you agree to Bluehost’s legal terms and then click on the green “submit” button. 

   

f. On the next page just click the blue “Create your account” button. 

       

 

g. On the next page create a password. Then click the “Create Account” button. 

  

h. You will then be taken to the login page. This will log you in for the first time. 

  

i. Once logged in you will initially go through for steps to setting up a Wordpress site. SKIP ALL of these steps.  You will not need to fill these out.

j. Once you skip those 4 steps you will finally be taken to your Bluehost dashboard! BUT we’re not done yet. 

   

  

5. Verify email address and confirm account with Bluehost. 

a. Once your account has been created and set up, Bluehost will email you to confirm your account, and activate your domain with them. Go to your inbox and find that email with the subject line, ”WHOIS Verification for yourdomain.com. Action Required.” and then click to open. 

      

b. Open up the email and click the green “Verify Your Email” button.   

  

c. After confirming, you will be taken back to your Bluehost dashboard. Then you will need to click on “Domains” at the left side. 

 

d. On the Domains section a pop-up will appear. Click the blue “ 

  

e. Then select No Charge and click the “I Don’t Want Privacy” button.   

      

f. Then click on the link “I’m sure. Turn OFF Domain Privacy + Protection. 

  

NOTE: The reason we turn this off is because it can impact the reputation of the domain with the Internet Service providers (ISP’s) like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail...etc and hurt deliverability with sending out emails to your list. Also, you might get calls from website developers asking to build a site for you - IGNORE THESE CALLS (they will last for a few days).  

 CONGRATS!!
