production line, adding new activities, amending an existing process, or manufacturing a new product.

The application must include a description of the environmental status of the land that was operated by

the facility, including monitoring data and previous treatment or rehabilitation activities.

review and decide on within 30 working days. The license will be cancelled only if all required

Service Name Request for Issuance of a Permit for trees translocation

Service Description

This service allows anyone who has native trees within his or her own land to apply for a permit to

translocate these trees. The Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi approves the translocation of native

trees (Ghaf, Sidr, and Samer Acacia only) and not to cut them, and then re-planting them in designated

government owned forest which is nearby the land.



Required Documents

Letter from Project Proponent (in case the

applicant is not the owner)

Site affection plan and Georeferenced Site

Map

Photos of all the trees to be relocated

Previous license of the project / land or

Ownership deed document of the land

Number of trees to be relocation


Customer submits the application along with the required documents to one of the customer service

offices or through the email ([email protected]).





If the application is approved, the conditions of approval will be sent to the customer by email and

the service request will be closed after confirmation of the receipt of the same by the customer.

Service Name Request for Issuance of Scientific Research Permit

Service Description

This service allows those who are interested to conduct scientific research (which may or may not

include specimen collection) on the environment and wildlife of Abu Dhabi Emirate to apply for a permit.

The Agency approves the application only after ensuring that the research does not harm the

environment, is conducted according to standardized scientific methodologies, and serves a scientific

purpose.

Georeferenced map of study site including all

sampling locations

Letter of collaboration with local institution (for

international non resident researchers)

Emirates ID and Passport of principal

researcher and all research collaborators

involved in the project


Customer submits the application along with the required documents to one of the customer service

offices or through the email ([email protected]) after downloading the application form and

technical guidelines from EAD website (https://www.ead.ae/Pages/our-services/researchers.aspx).
