Authority's services
Registering all Emirates citizens working in the United Arab Emirates in all business
institutions in both government and private sector with the Authority deems
mandatory and employers must register them with the Authority within no more than
one month of their employment; this can be executed on the following three steps:
Required documents:
Insured passport copy.
Insured ID card copy.
Copy of family book of the insured submitted upon appointment.
Copy of birth certificate of age estimation.
Three copies of insured service commencement form No. (1) duly completed.
Appointment decision, self procedure or employment contact as applicable at
every entity within government sector; as regards to private sector, the original
employment contract will be required after attestation from the Ministry of Labor
and providing three copies thereof.
Copy of medical exam upon appointment in case of government sector while the
original will be required in case of private sector.

It's mandatory to register employers in the government sector (federal government
entities, authorities, public institutions and corporation wherein federal government
contributes in addition to local entities subject to pensions and social securities entities
except Abu Dhabi local government) with the Authority, this processes will be executed
by the following three steps:
Required documents:
A letter accompanied by the law or decree of establishing the institution and HR
regulations clarifying appointment, promotion and end of service authority as
well as employees benefits such as salary, allowances … etc.
An official letter from ministries and local government departments attached to
which the HR regulations applied in relevant entity.

It's mandatory to register employers in private sector in all the emirates in UAE
(except Abu Dhabi emirate), this process will be executed by the following three steps:
Required documents:
Registration form No. (5) duly completed along with employer signature/
company stamp.
Trade license attested from competent authorities.
Commercial register.
Company's MOL card
Identity card (of the owner)
Passport (of the owner)
Form No. (6) duly completed and detailing the salaries of the insured effective
the appointment date and to be updated on January every year.
Statement form of insured monthly contribution deduction completed duly and
indicating deducted amounts from the contribution salary of the insured by the
insured share (5%) and the employer's share (12.5%).

Registering employers, business owners and self-employed an optional choice, these
categories are represented in the following schedule and will be executed in the
following three steps:
Required documents:
Registration form for self-employed and equivalents.
An official deed proofing type of activity and its commencement date
(Commercial register or trade license).
A copy of company's articles of association and any amendments thereon.
An undertaking from the employers of any future amendments on the articles of
association and providing the Authority with trade licenses copy on every
renewal.
Identification deed copy (Emirates identity).
A certificate from competent entity indicating not enjoying a retirement pension
from any other entity within the state.
A medical report authenticated from competent authority.
Attaching a bank statement of the last three years or a statement of salaries of
his employees.

Self-employed: A citizen whose
profession relies on his personality
and works from his own place

It's mandatory to register UAE citizens with the Authority in coordination with civil
retirement/ social securities bodies in the country where they are employed, such
process will be executed on the following three steps:

Completing insurance extension scheme unified form based on the employer and
retirement body in the country of employment.
Passport copy.
Identity card copy.
Copy of family book indicating naturalization date if any.

This indemnity is given to the insured who is not entitled a pension upon his end of
service, this process will be executed on the following three steps:

Copy of family book of the insured submitted upon appointment (and defining
naturalization date in case of naturalization).
Insured end of service form No. (2) duly completed by the employer.
Original end of service procedure – or equivalent.
Original end of service ministerial decree – or equivalent.
Last financial procedure (regular allowance – social allowance).
Financial form for joining service (if any).
Copy of settlement document upon end of service (journal or disbursement).
A letter issued from the bank to which the insured salary is transferred (IBAN) to
avoid any mistake during transferring the indemnity.

The insured is disbursed a retirement pension upon his end of service provided the
conditions of retirement pension applies and in order that the Authority will be able to
disburse the pension to the insured timely, the employer is obliged to provide the
Authority with the end of service file of the insured within one month of the date of his
end of service accompanied by necessary documents, this process will be executed in
the following three steps:
Required documents:
Passport copy.
ID card copy.
Copy of family book of the insured submitted upon appointment (and defining
naturalization date in case of naturalization).
Completing insured end of service form No. (2).
Original of end of service financial procedure – or equivalent.
Original end of service ministerial decree – or equivalent.
Last financial procedure (regular allowance – social allowance).
Supreme medial committee resolution in case of terminating service for non
medical fitness, disability or due to health causes threatening insured life with
danger.
Joining service term financial form (if any).
Copy of settlement document upon end of service (journal or disbursement) if
any.

Pension advance is disbursed urgently to new pensioner in an amount equivalent to
payable pension with a minimum limit of service term (15) years. Disbursement
requires submitting an application from the pensioner through his employer
accompanied by a document proofing his end of service while the term on which
advance will be paid shall be 3 months. Advance will be deducted from the pension
upon its final adjustment; this process will be executed in the following three steps:

- In case the pensioner or the insured deceases, the pension will be transferred to
his heirs beneficiaries effective the beginning of the next month of death date.
- The employer must provide the Authority with the insured end of service file
within one month and entitled heirs to present to Authority's premises in Abu
Dhabi emirate or one of its branches in Dubai emirate, this process will be
executed in the following three steps:

Legitimate announcement/ heritage enumeration.

If any of the heirs is suffering disability, we must be provided a certificate issued
from the medical committee proofing the same.
