A Long Night

I volunteered for eight hours at St. Johns Catholic Church. After

helping chaperone at an all

night lock-in, it truly was a long night.

We hung out with We hung out with the the kids and made sure kids and made sure no no one got into too one got into too much much trouble. trouble.

dance games and dance games and talked for hours.talked for hours.

Next, I tried my hand at microwave popcorn. It succeeded enough to disappear as soon as it appeared.

I don’t think I was supposed to laugh as much and have as much fun as the kids,

BUT I DID!

The worst part of the job was sweeping the carpet, but we FINALLY got the job done.
