Earlier an arid land had been reborn as a verdant green town due to interstate Indira Gandhi Canal project passing through.The Archeological evidence of Indus valley
civilisa�on are s�ll intact in Kalibanga 25 kms. away on the bank of river Ghaghar. The other famous places in surrounding Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Plant 2820 MW, Central Ca�le Breading Farm of ‘Tharparkar Breed’.
