Date: September 30, 2015 Model: SM300 Product Issue: Laymor has developed an addition to support the baffle radiator P/N 1000047. In the event that a unit location received the radiator without this kit then that unit is eligible for this repair. Units affected: 80 Potential SM300 units affected: Parts kit:
• 9107173K Overview: Units involved in this are to follow the standard Laymor warranty procedure. Replacement parts will be shipped to the location for installation. See Illustrations below for an overview of the scope of the repair.

• SAE socket set ¼” to 1” • SAE wrench set 5/16” to 1” • ¼” drive Ratchet • 3/8” drive impact wrench • 3/8” Drill • Drill bit set • Pliers • Automotive hose pick • Paint pin • Tape measure • Drip pan • Funnel • 1 gallon 50/50 extended life coolant • Thread locker / Loctite

2. Removetopradiatorhosefromthermostat3. Removeoverflowbottlehosefromradiatorneck4. Removeisolatorbracketassemblyfromtopradiatormountanddiscard5. Removebottomradiatorhosetowaterpump6. Removeradiatormountingbolts(2)7. Removeradiator8. Removeradiatorbaffleflapbrackets&hardware(12bolts&washers)9. Disconnectandremovebattery10. Securemotorbyplacingajackunderneaththeoilpan11. Removebothmotormounts12. Removeexistingradiatormountingplates(2)13. Applythreadlocker/Loctitetomotormountbolts14. Installnewmotormountspacerswithmotormounts15. Torquemotormountboltsina“X”patternto50Ft.Lbs.16. Installbatteryandconnectcables17. Removeexisting3boltsonleftrearofframe18. Leavetopleftbolttoholdwaterpumpfilterintoplace
