• State service commissions, like Serve Kentucky, are conduits for the federal CNCS funds for administrative grants and AmeriCorps program grants

Overview of Internal Structure

• Name change from the Kentucky Commission on Community Volunteerism and Service, effective July 1, 2018

• 15-25 bipartisan commission board members, appointed and re-appointed by the Governor

• 4 full-time and 5-6 part-time staff members

• 20 AmeriCorps program grants, and 3 administrative grants
