Our program is designed to meet the needs of adult women and men who desire a supportive environment that is harmonious with building a new lifestyle. Malibu Beach Sober Living recovery homes accommodate individuals who are willing to embrace and practice a healthy life of balance and commitment to the recovery process. We have created an environment with an experienced staff that can serve individuals with substance dependence and co-existing disorders including:

We Welcome those Recovering From:

addictionSWe define this by an individual who suffers from physical, mental, or psychological dependence on a substance. If a person meets our criteria, we expect an individual who is committed to complete abstinence from alcohol, marijuana, opiates, prescription drugs and any other mood altering chemicals.

trauMaWe define this as an individual who has suffered extreme psychological or physical trauma in their life. If they meet our criteria, many individuals have learned to live with whatever disability their trauma has left behind. Our homes have helped many of these individuals live a productive life, the most freeing experience for a trauma survivor.

eating diSorderSWe define this as a person who is struggling with anorexia, bulimia, over eating, unhealthy eating, binge eating. Once an individual comes into our care and is committed to health – we strive to help them meet and obtain their goals with this disorder.

Mood & PerSonality diSorderSWe define this as those individuals suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorders, personality disorders, and borderline personality disorders. Once an individual with these disorders commits to live in one of our homes, we closely monitor and work with together with the individual to begin to have life skills while living a life of sobriety.

Agreeing to participate in a sober living program such as Malibu Beach Sober Living requires a commitment to recovery. We believe in creating a customized program for each person. This customization will reflect the work that has be done up to this point and allow for goals and achievements to continue.

Our sober living is not just a place to hang your hat and declare you are living in a sober atmosphere. We require accountability for daily living. Each person will have different criteria of what that looks like and our dedicated staff is there to asset successful and sustainable recovery.

Some of our residents will be working, while others will be in day programs. Some of our residents do not need to work and choose to be of service to the community. One thing all residents have in common is the commitment to recovery and active participation in recovery.

We work closely with many clinicians and expect our residents who need clinical care to work closely with our staff to insure needs are being met. We offer transportation when needed and if appropriate residents can have their own cars to use as they please.

We understand that making the right decision for where one is going to walk through this process takes time and consideration. We want everyone who chooses our homes to feel welcomed. Our admissions process is short and simple. To become a guest at Malibu Beach Recovery, we follow five easy steps.

1. Review our website, brochure, or speak with one of our staff about being a guest at one of our residences.2. Download our application and room description sheet. 3. Schedule and then conduct a phone interview with our admissions staff.4. Return a completed application.5. Make and confirm payment arrangements.

Our Residents 1. Can be referred to us by a primary care treatment facility or other professional (psychiatrist, therapist, doctor). We work closely with the existing treatment team in the design, implementation and oversight of a continuing recovery care plan. 2. Have had multiple treatment experiences and choose our team to customize a program tailored to their individual needs and circumstances. 3. Will have a unique experience, with programs catered towards those with addiction issues as well as psychiatric, co-occurring and eating disorders.

The following criteria would be exclusionary to admission and will be appropriately referred to alternative treatment.

* We will accept individuals who have not completed a primary treatment program if they can demonstrate a level of commitment and motivation to participate in our full program and follow all of the recommended suggestions.

Specializing in aiding women recovering from alcoholism, addiction and co-occurring disorders including depression, trauma and eating disorders that have completed primary treatment. EaglE Pass Luxury Recovery for Men & WomenEagle Pass is a recovery retreat for men and women in Malibu with easy access to Santa Monica and Los Angeles.
