FINISHING THE TASK
A stewardship ministry of FBCTC to finish the task of building out the first floor of our facility.
BUILDING UPDATEAdult classrooms are now defined with steel framing. Sheet rock is installed on one side of each wall. Current children’s area is also under construction as new walls are appearing. Air conditioning
work continues and electronic controls should be in place soon. As construction moves into areas to be used on Sundays, extra efforts are made to insure the areas are clean and safe for everyone.
Be strong and finish the task! Zechariah 8:9

Coronavirus ConcernsOur Country is consumed with the possibility of a coronavirus pandemic. The coronavirus has made its way to the Houston area. One of the many areas of concern for the CDC is crowds. Coming to church is a concern for all of us in this uncertain time. I wanted to put together some things that we are doing and recommending at our church to help you decide whether to attend or not.1. PRAY for all of those who have been affected by the Coronavirus illness. Pray for the family members who have lost loved ones. Pray for those who are suffering from the virus now. Remember the Doctors, scientists, researchers who are researching treatments and vaccines.2. If you are sick, please don’t come to church. If you are coughing, sneezing, and have a fever, please stay home and get well.3. If you have a susceptibility to respiratory problems or a weakened immune system, we recommend you not to come to church until this crisis passes.4. If you can’t come to church, please do watch us on Livestream! If you do not know how to get us online, please call the church office, and we will walk you through the procedure of getting our services online.5. We are suggesting that while this crisis is going on that we change how we greet each other. Instead of hugging and shaking hands, it would be better to keep our distance and maybe bump knuckles or elbows. I know this will be hard, but I believe it wise at this time. Also, we are taking special precautions when we celebrate communion on Sunday, March 29th.6. Our cleaning company is following the cleaning procedures recommended by the CDC. They are disinfecting doorknobs, special cleaning our bathrooms, children’s areas, etc.7. Our “Finishing the Task” stewardship commitment campaign will continue to go forward. We are requesting all our members to ask God, “what is my part of the 1.7 million dollar build-out?” Later this month, every church member will be mailed a commitment card. Please fill out the card, and if you are unable to bring it to Impact Sunday, March 29th, then mail it in.8. Please remember that you can give online! Just go to the church website fbctc.com and click the give button. It will walk you through the process. We will get through this scary time in our world’s history. My prayer is that it doesn’t get to the worst-case scenario, but I appreciate our Country’s leaders for being proactive. Let’s keep FBC healthy; physically, spiritually, and financially during these crazy times! Love you!
