How to Become a Member of DABC We welcome those of you who are our guests to-day. If you desire to become a part of our fellow-ship, you may do so by one of the following ways:

(1) by professing faith in Jesus Christ and following

Him in water baptism; (2) by transferring your mem-bership from another Baptist Church; (3) by your

statement of faith in Jesus Christ that you have ex-perienced scriptural baptism after salvation. If you

have questions, we would love to talk with you.

FOUNDATIONS OF OUR FAITH We have begun a new class on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. led by the pastor. This “Foundations Class” examines 20 essential truths necessary for building a life of faith on the foundation of God’s Word. We will con-tinue these sessions for the remainder of the school year. Our prayer meetings will continue to take place at 5:30 p.m.

babypalooza Once again, we are taking part in the Babypalooza pro-

motion to benefit the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin

during January. Please pick up a list of items needed by

the organization from the Women’s Ministry table in the

foyer and place all donations in the crib provided in the

church mall area by the end of the month.

Heart to Heart is a Women’s Ministry organization for our widows. They will resume their monthly fellow-ships on Thursday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Jean Kendrick. Please contact Jean Kendrick or B.J. Capps for further information.

Men’s RetreAT March 1 & 2 at pineywoods

Participants will have an opportunity to come just Friday evening (after 4:00 p.m.), just Saturday morning or to stay

overnight. The cost for those spending the night is $25. Others pay $5 per meal. Skeet shooting will be offered.

Bring your own gun or borrow one if you would like to par-ticipate in that. A sign-up sheet is available in the foyer. Register and pay in advance by Sunday, February 24.

Those who are staying overnight should bring bedding and toiletries. Everyone should bring camp chairs.

DNOW19 – Relentless: January, 18-20th for Students in 7th grade through 12th grade. Cost is $30 and can be turned in to Bro. Don or the church office. Sign-Up Deadline: Wednesday, January 16th. We will have a host / co-host / parents meeting on Sunday, January 13 at 5:00 p.m. in The Warehouse to answer questions and receive the necessary forms to complete.
