Season Summary… Saskatoon finished the 2018-19 season having won 15 of their last 17 games to hit 98 points on the season. This is their 7th best total in franchise history. 20-year-old defenseman Dawson Davidson led the team in scoring from the blue line with 75 points. Davidson was named to the Eastern Conference’s 1st All-Star team, and finished tied with Moose Jaw’s Josh Brook for most points by a d-man in the WHL. Max Gerlach finished one point behind Davidson with 74, including 42 goals which tied for 6th most in the WHL. Top CHL prospect for the 2019 NHL Draft, Kirby Dach, finished 3rd in teams scoring with 73 points, and had the highest points-per-game on the Blades roster at 1.18PPG. In goal, Nolan Maier piled up 36 wins which was the 3rd most in the WHL. The 2001 born sophomore finished with a stat line of 2.63GAA - .910SV% - 36-10-4-0 and 4 shutouts. Mr. 300… Dawson Davidson finished his WHL regular season career with 301 games played. Not only did Davidson have an impressive year with 75 points, he is also the owner of the longest assist streak in the WHL this season at 15 games and 24 assists.
