How was this report created Why did we create this forecast? Since we provide deep social media analytics, this was a fun project done by few of our employees and then we decided to share this data with the world
Steps to creating this Forecast Academy Awards 2011 Prediction was created using Serendio’s Customer Experience/Listening Analytics system. Our process involves the following key steps:
• Identifying relevant sources – A limited subset of data was used with Facebook & Twitter as prime sources • Filtering data for relevancy – Our advanced filtering mechanism removes spam and unrelated data. • Taxonomy Development – We then define the relevant categories, topics, individual sentiments, product attributes and semantic relationship between key terms • Data Analysis – Based on the above, Serendio natural language processing engines crunch through this sea of unstructured data and provide a structured information output • Social Nuggets Index – Net Perception Score * Share of Voice
