Our Open Day is designed to helpyou to make the right choices forthe future, and especially todiscover whether this university isright for you.
Please use your visit to speak to ouracademic and support staff and toget answers to all your questions.We want you to go away with abetter understanding of the degreecourses that we offer, the ethos ofthe University and the specialcampus environment that we havecreated in Scarborough. Disabled VisitorsAlthough most areas of the University are accessible some buildings are,unfortunately, not user-friendly for those with restricted mobility. If you oryour guests have any specific requirements, please phone 01482 465293before the day.
Travel and parkingThe University is sign posted by the AA. The post code is YO11 3AZ. There islimited parking available on Campus, therefore we advise visitors to considerusing Scarborough’s Park and Ride schemes on the A64 and A165. A pdf ofthe service is available at www.scarboroughparkandride.co.uk
Alternatively you can use the Holbeck Hill car park which is accessible viaWheatcroft Avenue, directly opposite the Campus entrance.
For those who are planning on coming by train there is a taxi rank at thestation. Alternatively, visitors can take the number 7 bus from the stop at thetop of the pedestrian precinct.

Scarborough Employment AgencySEA is an internal employment agency, which gives students the opportunityto enhance their employability skills through paid work experience withinthe University and with local businesses. The agency works by offering aflexible working environment which works round the students studies. Visitmembers of the SEA team and here from some current student placements byvisiting them in PS1.
