MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello everyone,
After taking a summer break, we are back with regular content onsocial media, Zoom Chapter meetings and the newsletter.
Hopefully, you saw the short video about the Vaughan servicecentre that we shared on social media. We also played anextended version on our recent Zoom chapter meeting thatshowed the Model Y's new details. People who didn't attend theZoom meeting have asked if we can share that version, andunfortunately, the answer is no. Because Tesla staff were in thevideo, their rules say it cannot be shown to the public. I would liketo thank our member Joshua Barbour for the great videography.
Some people have mentioned that they aren't getting ourcommunications but eventually find them in their junk folder. Please make sure that you check your junk mail periodically andmark emails from me as safe.
This issue has details on our 2nd Drive-in movie event, and I hopemany of you can attend. We're working on organizing more Zoomchapter meetings before the end of the year. Send us speakersuggestions and presentation ideas that you would like to see.
Talk to you soon, John

Tesla Owners Club of Ontario has been a long time advocate of a
great Canadian company, Taiga Motors. They’ve attended a chapter
meeting in the past as guest speakers and we totally believe in their
mission.
Earlier in August, Taiga Motors was in Ontario and called on the club
to organize a small demo event. It was short notice, but we managed
to find a great location at Friday Harbour Resort. The demos were a
few minutes each and provided a feel for the electric watercraft on
the water. A club director and a few members have placed orders
with Taiga and this demo event was for the club to share our platform
with Taiga to promote the Orca.
If you like what you see, take some time and see what Taiga is
offering and the mission behind this great company

Excellence Auto Collision has been in business for 30 years.Throughout the company’s history we’ve stayed true to thecore values of the owner, Peter Woo. Peter has a passion for the automotive industry that runsthrough his companies. He believes that we all need tounderstand the way cars are engineered and built so that wecan properly repair back to pre-accident condition. With thetechnology and vehicles today there’s only one way to repaircars properly. The way that the car companies mandate this,is why in 2013 we became one of the first shops in Canada tobecome Tesla certified. We saw this great start-up companyand knew immediately that it had potential to grow into one ofthe power houses in the automotive industry that it is today.
Even with the past experience of Tesla, weknow that it is imperative to stay up to date on factoryprocedures to make sure that we can have the vehiclerepaired pre-loss condition. Safety of our customers is alwaystop of mind and there are no compromises made in this area.We only use OEM parts, repair procedures and materialswhen repairing cars. Over the years Excellence has expanded to seven OEMcertifications and with the help of Canada Car Rental canensure our customers have a seamless experience in theevent that the unexpected happens.
