We had the opportunity for all to learn a bit about us, through the Guatemalan sign language. The students performed the National Anthem of Guatemala in sign language, and this generated much interest in our work.

NIÑA LAVOSI All the boys and girls of LAVOSI participated in the parade, even the youngest. Elizabeth was our “Niña LAVOSI” y Elías was her escort. Our participation in this public activity helps to strengthen coexistence among the Guatemalan society and special needs children.

Celebration of the Day of the Child

This year we celebrated the Day of the Child at McDonalds where the staff and students shared good times together.

It was a special day for all and for some it was the first time that they

celebrated this special day. They enjoyed a meal and later played a while

in the McDonalds play area.

The LAVOSI staff enjoyed a recent outing with all of the students.

We end a very successful year where we saw the student population grow

by 50% and the addition of two new staff members.
