Dear Reader

Get ready to welcome PlanetSolar, the largest solar boat circumnavigating the planet solely with solar power. This exciting project will be presented in Singapore together with institutional partners, allowing academic and business stakeholders to be briefed on the relevant technologies, as well as a larger public to get a taste of the human adventure.

We are welcoming a number of delegations from Switzerland including students, alumni, faculty and entrepreneurs. Meet them at our events lined up for you in the last quarter.

The next Joint Working Committee on Education organized by the Swiss Embassy in Vietnam will host representatives from Swiss Universities, that we are keen to support in their future endeavours.

We are proud to have welcomed our first non-academic staff from ETH Zurich on sabbatical and we look forward to have our first Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne intern.

Do not miss the opportunity to meet the swissnex network during the swissnex Day and tour de swissnex organized in Switzerland this coming November.  We look forward to see you there and to welcome you at our events in Singapore.

Suzanne Hraba-Renevey and the swissnex Singapore Team
