Journey Through the Bible The Book of Ruth

Stories of Redemption Pastor Justin Linscheid

I. The book of Ruth is a smaller story within a bigger story.

II. Lessons from the smaller story...

a. In the midst of tragedy, it can be difficult to believe that God is with us and for us.

b. Even in tragedy God is faithfully present and actively working for us.

c. Through faith, God can turn tragedy into triumph.

III. Lessons from the bigger story...

a. Throughout history, God has been faithfully present and actively working to turn eternal tragedy into eternal triumph.

b. Through faith in Jesus Christ, you will have eternal redemption.

c. We each must consider what part we will play in the story of redemption.
