It may not be an encounter one hopes or, but allhunters must be aware there is that potential.

Grizzly bears are ound throughout westernMontana, not just the Rocky Mountain Front, BobMarshall Wilderness complex and the Yellowstoneecosystem. Black bears also range widely across the state. If there was a way to

    read a womans mind,

I am not so sure Iwould want to. I hate

    shoes, shopping,

gossip, and I alreadyknow I am annoying.

Te Montana Childrens rust Fund is promotingthe Not Even or a Minute campaign that remindsparents and caregivers to never leave childrenunattended in or around vehicles. Lef alone in a vehicle or even a short time, a childis in danger o heatstroke, dehydration, overheating, hyperthermia, injury, abduction and even death. Department o Public Health and Human Services(DPHHS) officials said no child should ever be put inthat situation. Tere have been deaths and several close

calls over the years in Montana, so its something weall need to be vigilant about, said Montana Childrensrust Fund Director Jamey Petersen. Nationally, 44 children died in 2013 rom being lefin a hot car and 23 have been reported so ar this year. emperatures in cars soar quickly, said MelissaLavinder o the DPHHS Childrens rust Fund. Evenwith a window cracked, the temperature inside a car canreach very dangerous temperatures within minutes, shesaid. When lef in a hot vehicle, a young childs bodytemperature may increase three to five times as quicklyas an adult. In these extreme conditions, childrencan die or suffer a permanent disability in a matter ominutes. Believe it or not, routines and distractions have

caused people to mistakenly leave children behind incars. Below are urther prevention tips. Make your child as visible as possible.

Place your purse, briecase, or whatever is to becarried rom the car in the back seat with your childto serve as an additional reason to check that area.

Set a reminder on your cell phone or computer to besure you dropped your child off at day care.

Ask your childcare provider to call you i your childhasnt arrived as scheduled.

Remember to use drive-through convenienceprovided by banks, restaurants, and other businesses.

Pay at the pump at gas stations. Prevent trunkentrapment and other accidents.

each your children the dangers o a car and let themknow that it is not a toy or playground.

Always lock your car, even at home, and remind yourriends and neighbors to do the same. Unlocked carspose a risk to children who are naturally curious.

Always put your keys in a sae and secure place outo childrens reach. Check pools, vehicles, and cartrunks immediately when a child is missing.
