September 4, 2018 U.S. Constitution Day Monday, September 17th Students and staff will

celebrate Constitution Day on

Monday, September 17th

(previously announced as

Friday, September 14th).

Students are encouraged to

wear red, white and blue that

day to commemorate the

forming and signing of the US constitution by 39 brave men

on September 17, 1787.

PTL Family Movie Night Friday, September 21st

PTL will be hosting a family

movie night in the gym! Bring

your pillows and blankets and

get comfy. Feel free to come

in your pjs or comfortable

clothing. A freewill offering will

be taken that evening. Stay

tuned for the movie title

announcement next week!

Welcome OSL Alumni - Pastor Woell Pastor Woell, Our Savior alumni,

will be leading our chapel

service on Wednesday,

September 5th. We are

thankful that Pastor Woell is

able to come back to Our

Savior and share Jesus with our

students and families through

PARKING LOT NOTES

For the safety of all of our

students, please follow drop off

and pick up traffic patterns. If

you are walking your child into

school, please park in a

designated parking spot and

use the crosswalk to access the sidewalk.

HOT LUNCH ACCOUNTS

Don’t forget, hot lunch accounts need to be

prepaid. You can do that through the “School

Payment” button at oursaviorlansing.org or in the

front office.

SCHOOL PICTURE DAY

School picture day is Wednesday, September 12th.

Preschool families are welcome to

bring their children between 8 and

11am to have their pictures taken if

they wish or wait until picture

retake day which is Tuesday,

October 30th where they will have

their pictures taken with their class.

SCHOOL CANCELLATION PROCEDURES

The safety of our school families is a priority for Our

Savior. There are many factors that are used to

determine school closure including: inclement

weather, poor road conditions, etc. When school

is in session, parents always reserve the right to

keep their child(ren) home or delay their arrival

until conditions improve. When there is a school

closure, all programs at Our Savior will be

cancelled, including extended care. Any school

closing will be shared via phone alert message,

email, oursaviorlansing.org, Facebook and TV

stations (WILX, FOX47, WLNS)

SPIRITUAL GROWTH CAMPAIGN

Starting September 9, we will be

discussing together a book, “The

Tech-Wise Family” through sermons

and in small groups. Books are

available for purchase ($10) in the

church lobby today.
