Grove Level Baptist Church Dr. Charlie G. Bridges, Sr. Pastor 2802 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, GA 30721 706.259.8519 www.grovelevel.org September 3, 2014 Brian Jones (seminary student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary): Things are going well right now! Continue to pray for my coworkers. I am continuing to have gospel conversations with a couple of guys there. I am thankful for all you and Grove Level do. It's so encouraging for me and Ashley to know that y'all are faithful in prayer! Michelle Parham (answered the call to vocational ministry): Please pray that I will praise God in times when life is going great but also when it is stressful and tough. Pray that I will have a desire to get in the word daily, that it won’t be just a check-off on my to do list and that I will fall deeper in love with the Savior. Also, please pray that I will not fall behind in my studies. Thank you so much, you don’t know how much all the support means! Kristen Bowen: Classes are fully underway so there is pressure there, and I am still trying to figure out where to plug in here. Please continue to pray. BJabc: Visa - We are approaching our time for visa renewal and residency approval this week and next. In our country, it is difficult to get the documents we need until the deadline is near. Please ask that it goes smoothly, we get favor from the officials that make the decisions, and that we are able to get all documents in time. We have already experienced some set backs in this area with other teammates, but know that the Father is firmly in control of all areas of our life. Language- We are back into the routine of language learning. Ask that we would grow in our comprehension, that we would increase in our vocabulary, that we would structure our sentences in a more advanced way, and that we would go deeper in our ability to share spiritual things. Family - We are grateful that a and b have enjoyed the beginning of their school year, their teachers, and friends. We have decided to put them on a “local school bus” with other kids that are all much older than them, in order to free up our schedule. Ask for the Father’s protection and for a supernatural maturity for them. We have had “coworkers” from our country living with us the past four weeks as they wait on answers to transition from our “company”. Ask that as they stay with us that we would be the “body” to them, that we would show much grace to one another, that our friends would receive the healing and answers they need from the Father and that our friendship w/ them would continue to deepen as we walk together through the coming days. We are blessed GLBC to call you our “body”, to be sent out by you to work among the Sparrows, and to be partnered with you to proclaim the truth of the Father’s love to the nations. Thank you for loving us through the Father. Troy Poe (answered the call to vocational ministry): Please continue to pray for my studies and I will stay focused on school work. More importantly pray I will stay focused on God and His plan. Also pray I will meet new friends which will strengthen me in my walk with Christ. Thank you for all the prayers. David, Kellie Crowe & Family (church planters w/ Greene Community Church in Waynesburg, PA): Our men are starting a new study next week "Manhood Restored"....we are picking back up with another 4-week Bible Study in Bobtown, PA this coming Sunday evening and we have a Community outreach next Saturday at the Waynesburg 50's Fest. Julie Parham & Emily Payne (independent faith missionaries who will serve as interns with Tabitha Ministries in South Africa): Pray for good meetings with the children in our individual bible study times. We love teaching them, pray God helps us to say the right thing that will resonate with each one of them. Also me and Julie trying to figure out what's next in our lives (Julie is coming back in January and me in May, so I still have a while :)) Bob Spear (Ft. Mountain Ministry): Last Sunday we had 53. Praise the Lord! Lana and I are presently seeking God’s will. Please pray for His will and guidance for us. Chandler Coker (accepted with Life Action to travel with a team and serve in children’s ministry): Today is our commissioning service for all the teams, and I’m still trying to get ready for the road. I've had an amazing staff training. So, I hope everyone keeps me in your prayers. I hope to see revival at these churches this next year. This past weekend was family camp, it was awesome. My team’s children's program got to teach the camp families kids, and I personally got to teach for the first time to prepare me for the road. I'd like to thank everyone for donating. Thank y'all so much. Mark & Gynnette Yoho (Fourth Watch Ministry): The fruit of the righteous is the tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30). Thank the Lord for all

and I will stay focused on school work. More importantly pray I will stay focused on God and His plan. Also pray I will meet new friends which will strengthen me in my walk with Christ. Thank you for all the prayers.

David, Kellie Crowe & Family (church planters w/ Greene Community Church in Waynesburg, PA): Our men

are starting a new study next week "Manhood Restored"....we are picking back up with another 4-week Bible Study in Bobtown, PA this coming Sunday evening and we have a Community outreach next Saturday at the Waynesburg 50's Fest.

went on a required school camp out last week. When she came back, she was sick. I think she either ate some under cooked chicken or drank contaminated drinking water on this wilderness journey. Thankfully, a few antibiotics have sorted her out nicely. Jacob is well and doing great in school. He loves his sports and endures pirate play practice like a champ. Well, that is the update. Keep lifting us up as we do you. That is what makes us all the family of God! Much Love, thank you for praying.

Bryan & Brittany Kelly (seminary

couple at Boyce School/Southern Baptist Theological Seminary): Tonight is my first

night working with the children at our new church and Bryan is helping lead with youth. We are thankful for y'alls prayers and support. We are thankful for the opportunities the Lord has given us. Continue to pray for our school semester. We love and miss y'all.

Please pray for my health. I travel back and forth from hot and dry to cold and wet climates. And everybody I am around is sneezing and coughing. I am congested and keep a head cold. It seems that at bedtime it is worse. Thanks and see you soon. Love you all.

He does to help us win souls. And thank you for being a church that trusts in the Lord enough to pray for soul winning ministries. We are grateful for you. Prayer Requests: Our calendar. 9/3 we will be speaking about missions at FBC Chatsworth. 9/5-9/7 we will attend a campers retreat at Berry (where I will preach on the 7th). 9/14 I will be preaching the morning service at Macedonia (Dawnville). 9/19-9/21 we will attend ministry training at Norman Park (GA). Then we will be back at Floyd Prison 9/23. Gynnette has begun a ministry to Spanish speaking people in Dalton. I sold my truck and we are looking to upgrade to a vehicle more suited for our ministry. Please ask God to fill our fall calendar as He sees fit. Finally, we want to win souls, pray for God to work through us to win souls. Thank you, Mark & Gynnette

M & H: The Father has been at work in a

number of ways. We just finished the book of Acts. We spent a considerable amount of time focused on the persecuted church and spiritual warfare. The reality for much of the world is that the norm for their life as a disciple includes regular persecution. Persecution often comes as a mark of obedience, and is to be expected. It is challenging when this coincides Jesus' message (Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13, John 15:18). It is good to lift our brothers and sisters around the world before the Father. Continue to lift us up:

Praise: our visa process is moving along, important documents we have

been waiting on are finally on their way.

Pray for open doors to share the Gospel in VA and for boldness in sharing

that Message when there is opportunity. Continue to lift up our families as we are getting closer to saying goodbyes. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support.

Chad Keeter (Navigators Ministry, Staff - Fall 2014): Please pray for

our weekly meeting tonight—that God would be present and speak to the students that are there. Also, please pray for the freshmen guys bible study that I'm a part of leading that happens tonight as well. There were 12 freshmen guys that came last week, which was awesome. Pray that those guys would be hungry to look into and learn from God's word. Thank you so much for your love and faithfulness in praying, it means so much to me!

Thomas, Paige, Elizabeth & Jacob Queen (our missionaries

in South Africa): Hello Bro Charlie, Friends and Family! Hope this email finds

you well. We are settling into our September month nicely. Emily and Julie are finishing up the last murals for the boy's bedrooms. Then they will turn their attention on the girls' lounge. We hope to replace the furniture in that room slowly as donation money comes in. The girls also help out in the school as needed and spend valuable time with our toddlers. Thomas is in full swing in the school. He is glad he has all his teachers back. Two interns from Australian will help us with tutoring with the students who are behind beginning September 10th. We really hope they can help us turn some of our kids' reading abilities around. Sweetwaters home visits have been going well. All our patients the last two weeks have been believers but many did not have God's word in their homes. It has been great to give them the Scriptures. One lady needed reading glasses to see the words. We now take a few pairs with us so we can get those glasses into their hands instantly. Yesterday, Julie shared her testimony with a blind patient. He was so encouraged by her words. She helped him touch all the new linen in his bucket of Hope. It was great to see a smile stretch across his face as he slowly realized what a blessing was in that bucket. Isabel had her first chemotherapy. She did fantastic. Keep praying for her. Zanele has another treatment for her bone disease today. Please continue to remember both staff members in your prayers. Elizabeth is doing well. She For cards of encouragement to Holley’s parents:
