The Catechism of the Catholic Church 941-943 "THANK A COP"…A THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! The project was an amazing success all due to the generosity of the parishioners from OLM, St. Marks and St. Lukes. I was able to put together 3 baskets of all the items collected. My husband Renny and I delivered them to the Washington Township Police Department, the Chester Police Department and the State Troopers Barracks in Netcong. It was an overwhelming, emotional experience to have the opportunity to present these gifts of "Thanks" to these police officers in person as a representative of our communities. They were so grateful for our outpouring of love and support and shared with us how much it meant to them to know that there really are people out there who appreciate what they do and that prayers are being offered for them. The total of gifts that were collected and distributed were: 320 cards and letters 260 cards that contained gift cards (I was able to determine that gift cards were enclosed in the sealed envelopes by feeling them).....(good detective work) 45 gift cards alone 50 goodie bags 2 posters 1 Frisbee for a K9 On behalf of all the police that we donated to, I thank you and please continue to keep all of them in your prayers…Pam Hodgskin
