We're more than halfway through the year andalthough it's been different for all of us, we've adaptedand continue to put our best foot forward for theanimals in our care! In 8 short months, we've adopted,returned to owners, and trapped-neutered/spayed-released nearly 500 cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, guineapigs, and even a pot belly pig! We have helped almost300 animals live better, healthier lives by spaying andneutering and we're not done yet! We appreciate eachand every one of you who support us with donations,supplies, adopting, volunteering, fostering, and evensharing our posts on social media. We are so thankfulfor the wonderful community surrounding us!

Along with the Governor's plan, we will continueoperating by appointment only. Our operations aresubject to change should the State make any changesin the future.

 The Calendar photo contest is back by popular demand!  Submitting your pet photosand voting on your favorites will help support the Humane Society of Whitley County. This is your opportunity to have your pet featured in the 2021 calendar and remember,each entry gives you the chance to win $100. 

Entries will be accepted until September 20th at 8pm.  Voting will be available fromSeptember 20th - October 9th at 8pm.  The cost for submitting a photo is $10, and eachvote costs $1. The calendars will be available for purchase in November.
