Life Line Screening, a leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings, will offer their

Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart disease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. Counting the Days Until We BLAST!
Another fun filled BLAST year will be starting September 15th at 10:00 am. All children
ages Pk-6th grade are encouraged to attend. This year we will be using the “Whirl”
Lectionary and teaching age based stories of our sermon. The Brandon and I, along with
Miss Dawn, Miss Kris, and Miss Courtney are looking forward to seeing all your smiling
faces every Sunday morning. And Miss Jill will be heading up the KFC Singers as well Bell

Worship & Rejoice Hymns!
In September you will be seeing “New (blue) Hymnals” in the
pews. The Worship and Rejoice hymnals will be replacing both
the red and grey hymnal we are currently using. You are invited
to purchase these new hymnals for the congregation at a cost of
$15 per book, in memory or honor of loved ones. Each book will
be tagged on the inside cover with the name of the person to be
recognized by your donation. Please use the envelopes at the
back of church. The accompaniment copy of Worship & Rejoice
is in the back of church along with the list of all the hymns from
our current hymnal that are included in this new hymnal for you to
check out. We believe you will be pleasantly surprised at how
many you will recognize as well as some of our old favorites that
are not in our current hymnals. Please take a copy of our old red
or grey hymnal as a gift for donation for the Worship & Rejoice
