During the four days of competition, the show saw 950 entries in a variety of horse show classes and contests. There were speed classes, dressage and judged performance, as well as ranch horse classes. There was also the state judging contest, hippology contest and a variety of speaking competitions. The 2015 Southern Regional 4-H Horse Show was held in Perry, Georgia, July 28 - August 2. Arkansas sent 17 youth tocompete in a variety of events, including speed, gaited and western pleasure classes. There were also youth who competedin demonstration, horse judging and hippology contests.

Here is how Arkansas fared.

4th Annual Arkansas 4-H Roping Contest Held

Each of these winners received a saddle certificate inthe amount of $750.

On May 30, 2015 the 4th Annual Arkansas 4-H RopingContest was held in Benton at the Saline County Fairgrounds.

Events included Tie Down Roping, Team Roping,Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying.

Sponsors were Arkansas 4-H Stallion Service Auction,Southern Arkansas University, and Hope Livestock Auction.Mark Wallace, Bill Driggers, Ashley Newcomb, and JessicaRowland provided the cattle and goats for event.
