Without growth, we stop moving forward, stop going somewhere, and most of the time, we stop reaching our goals. I don’t know about you, but I like to move forward, like going places, and love to reach goals. I’m confident that most of you like to do all of these things. When I was asked to serve as Chairwoman this year, I immediately started asking what can the Chamber do or change to increase your membership value. You’ve heard us ask for your feedback in the past, and we promise to continuously ask for your feedback so that we as a Chamber can make necessary changes, continue to grow, and continue to ensure your investment provides value. A change I invest in everyday is personal and professional development. Many employers see the benefits of offering their employees opportunities to expand their skills through per- sonal growth and professional development. Not only can employees learn new skills, but they can also positively impact their own career paths. I’m very proud of the newest Chamber benefit we have recently added; a low cost Speaker Series to help you and/or your employees with personal and professional develop. I encour- age you to take advantage of this exciting Speak Series by signing yourself up or sending your staff where you will have the chance to gain valuable sales and negotiating skills, learn what is preventing you from achieving your financial goals, and gain an understanding of your top 5 strengths and how to use them. The knowledge learned from our lineup of dy- namic speakers at our Inaugural Speaker Series is guaranteed to help change behaviors that are holding back, ultimately unlocking your fullest potential. As always, please call the office or drop me a line if there is anything we can do to increase the value of your membership, to make beer use of your investment, or to get involved with a commiee or special event. From the Chairwoman

I’ve always welcomed change as a positive impact that everyone and every organization needs in order to grow.

Many employers see the benefits of offering their employees opportunities to expand their skills through per-sonal growth and professional development. Not only can employees learn new skills, but they can also positively impact their own career paths.

I’m very proud of the newest Chamber benefit we have recently added; a low cost Speaker Series to help you and/or your employees with personal and professional develop. I encour-age you to take advantage of this exciting Speak Series by signing yourself up or sending your staff where you will have the chance to gain valuable sales and negotiating skills, learn what is preventing you from achieving your financial goals, and gain an understanding of your top 5 strengths and how to use them. The knowledge learned from our lineup of dy-namic speakers at our Inaugural Speaker Series is guaranteed to help change behaviors that are holding back, ultimately unlocking your fullest potential.

As always, please call the office or drop me a line if there is anything we can do to increase the value of your membership, to make better use of your investment, or to get involved with a committee or special event.

Respectfully,

Nichole Knight, Chairwoman of the BoardLabor Ready, a TrueBlue Company | [email protected]
